I am glad I didn't study for it. Not that being on msn doing absolutely nothing is any more constructive but oh wells :P. Hope I can wrangle a B. Ate lunch with the 3Q girls at LongHouse before heading to the Singapore Island Country Club (courtesy of Pam)for a KTV session. While some of us chose to engage in Bridge, I lazed around and sang a couple of songs. Guess it helps when no-one is laughing at you; makes your singing sound more palatable. At around 3, we took a Cocoa Trees van (courtesy of Pam again) to the Home Team Academy, situated in some ulu place in Choa Chu Kang (I hear some of you asking "Where is that?".) I did some exploring of the place and chatted with Stephanie, my Sec 3 and 4 classmate, now an ACS (I) councillor before the game commenced. Saw lots of familiar faces too: Terence, Darren, Ming Rue, Melu jsut to name a few.

And Yes! WE BEAT OUR ARCH-RIVALS ACS (I) 12-10!

The cheering must have boosted the morale of the rugby player, who must certainly be applauded for their show of tencity and ruggedness (pun not intended). Despite being down several times in the game, they bounced to level the score and eventually, there was extra time. The golden moment came when an RJ rugger kicked the ball between the 2 pole thingies and SCORED!!! Needless to say, there was a paroxysm of euphoria and people streamed from the stands to the field to congratulate the ruggers. What makes victory even sweeter is that ACS (I) is a ruby powerhouse who has been bagging the gold for...I can't quite remember how many years. Kudos to the rugby team who has done RJ proud =)! I couldn't help but notice the medic attended to the RJ players more then the ACS (I) ones.
